Depression Help
Feeling a looming sense of hopelessness, you know that you are falling into a state of depression, again. You don't want to trudge to the doctor's office because after all, anti-depressants are a band-aid covering the cause of your depression. There is no sense in burying the source, as it will not improve your state. Consulting with a psychologist may help initially but it is impossible to solve the mind with the mind. Talking about your problems only gets you so far. So what can you do to treat your depression and live more freely?
Only by unfolding the layers that cover the root cause can you treat depression. This entails going beyond the level of stories and feeling the core charge. It is through feeling, not analyzing, that you can start to unravel the tight grip pulling you into the inoperable state of depression.
There are very few forms of therapy that take people beyond the constructs of the ordinary mind to the source of their emotional blockages and conditioned behavior. One such method is Inner Space Interactive Sourcing (ISIS), founded by the Clairvision school of meditation. ISIS facilitates experiences including emotions, feelings and reactions. The technique can lead to major releases of latent emotional charges, the root of depression.
Through a technique such as ISIS, you work on the source rather than the symptom. In addition to releasing emotional charges, you get in touch with your true essence. You start to see yourself in a different light. Your psychological state become less varied and your mood swings minimize. You find more solid, harmonious parts of yourself to live from. After a while, feelings of malaise become less prevalent, eventually dropping.
It is always important to take care of your body, especially on the onset or in the midst of depression. Get plenty of exercise, drink at least 8 cups of water a day and eat healthy foods. Stay away from alcohol, drugs and other stimulants and depressants. Avoid the things which cause you to feel depressed, even if it means taking a day or two off work. In the long run, your state of well being is more important than anything else.
