Sanyo SCP-7050 Review - A Review of the Sanyo SCP-7050 Mobile Phone

The most striking thing about the Sanyo SCP-7050 cellular phone is the rugged design of the phone. Beyond just looking tough, the phone has an anti-slip, textured rubber surface to help prevent the user from dropping it. The outer shell also acts as a protector, reducing the likelihood of the phone getting scratched or damaged.

GPS capable and Java MVM enabled, the SCP-7050 supports advanced GPS applications (like Sprint Navigation, Comet Tracker, Gearworks etrace and others), so that owners will always know exactly where they are, where they're going and how to get there.

The phone also adheres to Military Standard 810F for dust, shock and vibration. Perfect for business owners, companies can limit the use to predetermined incoming and outgoing phone numbers stored in the phone. Sprint Vision and Sprint Ready Link can also be limited or completely locked out.

With the SCP-7050, one never has to worry about personal information getting into the wrong hands in the event of theft or loss. The Remote Lock feature allows owners to erase important personal information from any computer using a special SMS text message, sent through Sprint's website.

Because the phone is also Wireless Backup Enabled, the SCP-7050 stores a backup of all contacts to a secure location, automatically. This means that if the phone is lost or stolen, Wireless Backup can quickly and easily restore all contacts, without having to key in each individual entry. The same system also offers a web-based way to add, remove or edit contacts.

The 2 inch screen that the SCP-7050 offers has QVGA-resolution TFT LCD display, and the external display has a large and easy to read screen with high contrast for fantastic visibility outdoors. This phone has everything anyone could ever need and more, and is perfect for people who are notoriously hard on phones.
