Nokia 6300i Mobile Cell Phone

The Nokia 6300i follows on from the best selling 6300 but now has several enhancements over the previous model.

The 6300i has WiFi & thus supports VOIP. Now, there may be some of you out there shouting \"Hey, what\'s new - the Nokia 6301 does that\" and you\'d be right - except, for whatever reasons the Nokia 6301 had a very troubled short, tragic life and barely made it to the shelves in most countries, if not at all.

So, Nokia have gone back to the drawing board as it were & improvised by \"merging\" a fairly old but popular handset and the defunct model - and what they\'ve come up with is pretty good in our opinion.

You see, the Nokia 6300 was easily one of the best mobile phones of 2007 - Clean, simple lines, easy to use keypad and a small, light frame helped to quickly establish it as a firm favourite amongst both business and regular customers alike. From this it\'s not hard to see why Nokia would be keen on breathing new life into an old model, just as they did in the past with the Nokia 6230i

There\'s a 512MB memory card included in the sales package, with Nokia Maps installed (although the 6300i does not have GPS). There\'s also a desk stand and stereo wired headset too just to make the package that bit more desirable. Memory on the original could be beefed up to 2Gb but now the 6300i can manage 4Gb via the microSD slot which is great for storing all of those files, photos and videos.

More than a case of just being the same-old same with a new lick of paint, the 6300i has WiFi and can support VOIP calls. Not only does this mean that you can make inexpensive calls but also the fact that the 6300i is great to surf the Web - fast & free in WiFi hotspots. It also has WLAN so you can hook up to wireless networks and access broadband connections too.

The Nokia 6300i will be available in the 2nd quarter of 2008 & will be one of the top mobile phones of the year 2008. It will be available to buy on contract or SIM free from The Order Ltd
