How To Get Your Website Listed on Yahoo Within 2 Hours

Ok you have a website and you want to get listed in Yahoo. You have submitted your site and its been a few weeks and you are getting annoyed and you dont want to pay to be included then what can you do? Well there is a way to get your site listed and really fast and this is what you need to do.

First off if you dont already have a blog you need to set one up. You can get one for free from blogger.com. Go through the process and set it up. You may as well set it up as a blog to post on to also add a link to it to your website so that every post you add will add content to your site and make your site more sticky for the search engines.

We will assume you have now set up your blog, take notice of what the RSS feed URL is for your blog it will be something like this if it is through blogger.com http://yourblogname.blogspot.com/atom.xml now this atom.xml is the rss feed you will need that in a moment.

Now I want you to go to Yahoo.com and if you havent already done so signup for a yahoo account it is free and will give you an email address and password to get into yahoo. Once you have filled in everything and confirmed yahoo will let you log in and you will be able to customise your my yahoo page.

This is where the fun begins you now need to click on the add content tag Just under the search box and then click to the right side of the Find Content Box and where it says "add RSS by URL" click it, then it will take you to another page where you need to add in your atom.xml URL from your blog then press add. You can also set it so that yahoo will look for new info every few hours.

Now you need to go to your blog and start adding posts to it and then pinging it. In your posts you need to add keywords and those keywords need to be hyperlinked with your website that you want to be listed in yahoo. If you have a whole heap of pages you want listed as well then write different posts and hyperlink those pages to the keyword in the post and then check your my yahoo by logging in and you will see an area where all your latest blog posts have actually been picked up by the yahoo crawler.

You can now do a check and you will see that those pages that were linked to the keywords in your posts have now been listed in yahoo. it is great to get listed in one of the major search engines so quickly and this is by far the quickest FREE method of getting your website pages listed. You could also use this to get your own blog listed in yahoo.

Try it out it truely does work and is a great free way of getting listed. Now once you have started writing posts and using keywords to link your pages to then continue with that method on every post you do it will help drive your website up the chain for your chosen keyword.
