Artificial Intelligent Flight Control Systems and Aircraft Altitude Assignment

Currently aircraft such as airliners are assigned specific altitudes to fly at. However if each aircraft is connected to the system in a net centric manner, they should be possible for each unit or aircraft to be assigned proper altitudes to fly at and been verify those altitudes with a central computer system. How can this be done? Well, in a number of ways for instance if you look at a router in a computer system you notice that many self assign IP addresses. But really what is the difference between a piece of data going through wires to a given location or an airliner flying through the air to its intended destination? There it is no difference it\'s all about flow instead of using data think of each block of data or byte of information as an aircraft.

Now then, as the artificial intelligence system for controlling the air traffic in the United States gets better and better, it will learn and teach itself where there or conflicts and reassigning different altitudes based on things such as adverse weather, increased number of aircraft or need to expedite certain aircraft in the system. Currently there will be a shortage of air traffic controllers within the next decade. This also means there\'ll be shortage of personal for approach control, radar monitoring and traffic within the terminal control areas. By using it artificial intelligent flight control system which assigns aircraft altitudes and betters itself as time goes on based on information learned in the process it appears we can streamline our nation\'s air traffic control system to take on more aircraft and move them more efficiently through the system. Thus prevent the ways reroute around the weather and improve overall safety of air travel. Consider this in 2006
